I'd wager that Roger Stone leaked to CNN that he was going to be arrested. Roger loves the theatre and cameras, and he looked fresh faced and not surprised at all. I don't think hit was Team Mueller coordinated leak, especially as the SWAT teams were bad optics.
Or CNN is on the ball with their investigative journalism and anticipated the bust #occamsrazor
Considering they couldn't investigate more than a few minutes of the Covington video before airing the story I'd say that's highly unlikely.
If Occam’s Razor applies to the FBI raid, then perhaps Hanlon’s Razor applies to Covington. Don’t attribute malice to what is easier explained by stupidity.
