Trump’s supporters won’t blame him for losing a court fight if he issues an executive order. A court fight would help him in 2020. Backing down now though is electoral suicide.

It’s a tough run. You have to be anti-trump, kinda sorta anti-old (trump tainted) GOP but still Republican. What are you gonna say? “Drain the swamp”? And this is all before heading off whatever dem challenge is riding high on the fate of trump. I would run a fall guy 2020.
