That just avoids the debate nobody wants to have on either side of the aisle, which is why is there some much freak'n waste and bloat in government. Debate that and solve that instead always first reaching for more of the fruit of everyone's labor.

Income tax is paid to FED RESERVE! All the money never touches the people. A wealth tax with 0 loop holes for the ELITE? That can truely be enforced? Not buying it yet. Seems like a racket to pick and choose winners at a government level with loop holes.

Thats why the wealthy like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates support higher income tax rates, they could live like kings on their investment income and never need another $1 of earned income. Maybe a 70% tax on assets >$10 mm will reveal who the real progressives are.
