They had just finished their school chant. The guy approached them peacefully. The reacted horribly. But no- the shame mob probably won’t do much and they, as teenagers, have the capacity to change and grow. I hope they do.

I see this as teenagers being not good, but adults forming an outrage mob being even worse.

I don’t. I remember some kids at my prep school throwing tortillas on the court at a basketball game against a majority Latino school. They were shamed by adults, appropriately, and learned from it. Most of those kids saw the evil in what they did and changed.
