Would you kill baby Hitler is literally an essay question in a Philosophy / Ethics exam question. The intellectual elite attack Shairo are showing they’ve never thought deeply about these issues.https://twitter.com/RealSaavedra/status/1086457679130767360 …

Journalists, who aren’t trained in philosophy or law, consider the Socratic method “whataboutism.” Anyone who has thought deeply of morality has a better answer than, “Shapiro won’t kill a baby? He must be a Nazi!”

Do you kill Baby Hitler without due process of law? Is there a trial? Do you have the unilateral power to execute? If so, under what other circumstances are you able to be judge, jury, and executioner? I’m no Shapiro fan boy but today media showed they aren’t serious people.

It can’t be done. It’s a delusion.

Easier to just go back and just buy a bunch of his paintings before he climbed to power, keep him in the art world of Paris and away from political office in Germany. I understand that that misses the "point", but I also think that point is stupid from the get-go.

Planned Parenthood would do it.

Thou shalt not do murder. Ergo if you have the power to travel back in time to meet Hilter-baby, you should have the ingenuity to move him away from Germany as a better third option.

The premise of the hypothetical is that from your perspective future events already happened. The concept of innocence is affected by time travel. Baby Hitler can’t be innocent if the crimes will be commited just as certainly as they have been.

This may be dodging the issue, but Hitler wasn't the only problem. German resentment over the Treaty of Versailles, economic strife, general anti-Semitism, and the ascendance of Fascism and Marxism would still exist. It would still be a powderkeg.
