Another word, in stead of 'addicts', is 'abnormal'. Abnormal people are usually going in the opposite direction of normal people. Satan is counting on the normal people to do their part as his plans unfold.

Wouldn't you say that the majority of the"interesting people" you speak of became addicts but only after entering into the public eye, not before? You have to be disciplined to be successful, but lose it all after becoming an addict.

True. Your (and my) leaders are mostly psychopaths, or lack any empathy. They see us as a glob of units. It's easy to "create" shiz when you only really want to destroy everything. The depressed and tortured only need to express that emotion and they create art.
