If anything this shows how many non-essential employees we have. We could shave some money off the budget by privatizing or eliminating certain agencies/groups. I.e. - before 9-11, airlines provided security, not fed gov

If he buckles, he risks losing 2020. Dems buckle and he wins 2020 but likely split Congress as part of his base would be content. Noone budges? I think his base shows up to try and get him the 60 he needs in Senate. Only way he loses, to me, is caving on the wall.
