These people are just one traumatic life experience away from learning this hard life lesson. We all have to face our mortality and fragility eventually, no matter how much whining and complaining we do. Nothing is more humbling than this.
The biggest problem I see for those under 30 is that the rules of the world are largely politically incorrect and can’t be said aloud. An entire generation has no access to wisdom. Forbidden Knowledge.

I think hardest thing to come to terms with is that there is no blame. Reality exists as it does regardless of our perception of it. It’s too terrifying for some to accept that no one is in control so they add a “parental” layer; someone must be responsible for the suffering.

Of course if no one is ultimately responsible that means self-responsibility is the only logical course of action! Otherwise you are just floating in the wind, hoping to land somewhere comfortable.

That's a good point. I also notice a sort of abandonment of traditional arts and lore, heritage and culture in the pursuit of an immediate gratification,an instant future. Like the answer lays in the next trend. I look at it a bit differently I guess but agree on your point

The biggest problem I see is climate change. Having a planet to live on, that can provide for its population, is my prime concern.

No matter what we do, overpopulation will eventually be what brings down the planet. That breaking point will come before climate change can do mass damage.

Climate change destroys the arable land which makes it difficult to feed/house the growing population. They are heavily correlated. Oh and climate change has already done massive damage. See Miami.
