I have a son this age. I don't care what the custom is, if an adult were to ever do something like this, they'd be eviscerated by my bare hands. All cultures are not equal.

Not all cultures are equal or good.

There must be a middle ground between the Gillette ad nonsense and this heinous tradition.

In Mexico I know it’s custom to push the persons face into the cake. I’m not sure. I mean if the kid was crying I’d say wtf, but it seems like a normal tradition for them and it’s done with love instead of malice. I’m not having my birthday there though.

No wonder they nation isnt doing well. They traumatize their children yearly with beatings they call pranks. That has a negative effect on IQ and is even worse for interpersonal relationships. STOP ABUSING YOUR KIDS PEOPLE!
