Elites don't realise that many people eat food purely for fuel, and they could care less about where it comes from as long as it's -Efficient -Tastes good -Cheap The next culinary billionaire is the one who can figure out how to make healthy food, really really efficient.
Higher earners tend to "lack time" to make their own meals. 50+ hour weeks will do that to you. I was in this group for a very long time, breakfast usually. Reformed now but still recovering.
The only thing that's particulary unhealthy about fast food is the soda. If you counted calories and skipped the soda, it would be feasible to healthily incorporate a burger and fries into your diet almost daily.
Too bad it’s cooked in seed oils and not remotely filling for a day.

If this had not happened I wouldn’t be admitting that I swung through a MacDonalds drive through today. Modest order. Burger, small fries and large ice tea. They have really good ice tea.

Remember when the left tried to drag Chick Fil A, and In N Out? Millions of Americans flooded their doors afterwards. Fast food is some of the hardest & fast paced work. Many Americans experience it as a kid. I worked 5am drive through shifts at McDonald’s at 15.
