ON schools have been in a perpetual strike for decades. Grade 9-13 + 2 years college every year there were strikes. Last year a strike lasted the ENTIRE YEAR. Media/Lib Gov can't say much b/c teacher unions vote Lib and spend millions attacking the Cons every election.

I get that teachers should be more valued, however, I can definitely see some families upended by this! Luckily I stay home with our children we know how to get by with very little. Others don’t have this blessing so losing an income could be devastating!

through that lense teachers would always be in a strangle hold becuase there will always be kids that may be effected by their efforts to get better pay/benefits/funding/what have you. the unpleasant reality is that if our schools were properly funded this wouldnt happen
