I agree. His "Good Trump, Bad Trump" segment he used to run gave him away as an authoritarian that had no political instincts. Hes purely reactionary.

Is he supposed to be proactive in his assessment of the things trump does and says? He is a reporter for all intents and purposes and reporter react.

It seems to be a situation of you’re either 100% with him or you’re against him entirely. You can agree and disagree with what Trump does. Not everything is gold plated acts of genius but you can appreciate if he does something you agree with.

Very true, it is the oppose of our conceived view of being ‘presidential’. Don’t get me wrong, his behaviour is somewhat inept. But perhaps this is what was needed in order to create a needed shake of consciousness within the political hierarchy.

You know some of them I'm fine with. I do feel like it's especially unfair of the media and how he's treated, so him having a voice to fight against it seems right. Yet there are times where I believe he just crosses the line.

Absolutely. When someone is mocked and openly ridiculed for their beliefs. It only makes them more steadfast in said beliefs. It’s not so much the media but this theocracy that has generated the attitudes and ideology in which they push. This has been developing for decades.

The parts about Trump are pretty easy to get wrong lad. Just because you held out on a 25% chance doesn't mean Ben was stupid for thinking Trump wouldn't have won. Remember how Trump was a democrat for most of his life and randomly became conservative recently?

Listen "lad", maybe Trump's victory was a surprise to you Brits, but it wasn't a surprise to me either. All the press does is lie & the pollsters are often wrong. Hillary couldn't draw crowds, and wasn't likable. They had to rig the Democratic party nomination process 4 Hillary.

The republicans swept the legislative elections in 1994, with the polls having predicted anything but that outcome. And Cernovich was talking about much more than Trump's election anyway. Ben Shapiro is a bad joke.

Even when he’s saying something I agree with, the sound of his voice and rapid fire way of speaking, not to mention how he gets caught into repetitive loops... it’s just exhausting to listen to. He really does come across as a smug hall monitor.
