Listened to Dr. Schlessinger and she always said to wait til kids grow up to get into relationships... Or not involve kids with the partners. Take responsibility and make kids first. Not easy but responsible.

Traditional marriage created an explicit competition to pair with the best parent for your child. Divorce and hookup culture detracts from this cultural environment.

Yup, my dad wasn't very nice to my mom, but he was very loving to me and my brothers. My mother's second husband was a pure jerk to me and my middle brother, but he liked my baby brother who was 3 when he & my mom met. He beat me up once and kicked me out once, I loathed him!

Im a father of 4, 2 are mine and 2 are my step children.... they are all my daughters. They are all equal..... I dont fall into the statistic.... I wish I could teach more to do what I do and bring that statistic up. My wife married me for 2 reasons and they are a blessing!
