This dad is getting a lot of hate, and he shouldn't. His is a COMMON experience. Mine is different, however know the risks. A thread....about why I'm glad I waited to have kids until my late 30's.pic.twitter.com/kJyCSn8qbm

Children test your patience, and most adults aren't prepared to handle this. Look at how people freak out over the stupidest shit in real life, and the stuff people cry about. How can they handle a child's tantrum?
Most Americans aren't mentally or physically prepared to have children. They haven't "grown up" themselves. Hence their misery. However as someone who has done it all and YOLO's hard, I love it. Too many daily joys to count. But know that your life WILL change and HOW it will.
P.S. Most men have a mid-life crisis because they (delusional) believe they could have had a different path. Like they woulda been Cobra Tate if they had wanted. There is a lot of media pressure on women to "settle," and that's actually not bad advice, but also true for men!
Mike, addiction has been their M.O. ever since they took over. This is not by accident.
Love this thread. We didn't have children until we were older. I was 39/wife was 43. We both got married late in life, only marriage for both of us. I think having kids later, for me, makes me a better parent. However, I've known people who had kids early and being great parents.
Parenting SOS: Self-awareness, Objectivity, Selflessness. Patience isnt enough.
Well stated!!!
1. When you become a PARENT. You need to put your kids first 2. Shutdown the video games 3. Read to them 4. Eat with them, every single night 5. Create a routine and find your village to help. Grandparents are Amazing!! 6. Get out of the house with your wife 2x a month!!
This is not unlike a warning from a certain manifesto-
I would have said “attention” but it’s the same thing. Each patenting isdue is always solved by attention. Pay attention as much as needed, don’t escape ir.
People don't realize that parenting is the most important job they will ever have in life. You're not only affecting that child you're affecting every single person who comes in contact with that child for the rest of their life
Whenever I read a news story about a kid getting beaten to death by the mom’s boyfriend, it’s almost always because the kid interrupted his video game somehow. I’ve heard CPS officials say the same thing.
That tells what kind of mother the child has to allow it to continue.
Spittin truth bombs @Cernovich
My kids changed my life for the better!!
