Committee assignments are a way the Speaker clearly shows where the power lies. With 435 Representatives in the House, and AOC having gained her seat by the low 15k votes needed from her 14th District, Ms. Pelosi “cuts off heads without them knowing they’re bleeding” holds true.

The Bolsheviks know that she is stupid. She may be a charismatic memetic supergenius or whatever, but she is still stupid, and the likes of Pelosi (not too bright, but brilliant compared to Alexander from the Bronx) are not going to have her holding that much power so soon.
