I’d love to see someone explain to celebrities that telling people what they can and can’t joke about is problematic. Lines will inevitably be crossed at times, but no subject should be outright taboo. Any joke, constructed well, can cover any subject and be funny.

The real mental illness is 99% of these celebs thinking they've attained influence by being intelligent and well-versed. Talk about a total lack of "knowing thyself"

I don’t need Mrs. Turner to establish the rules for me! When I struggle to start my day and all I wish is to be dead 6 feet under a joke from a close one can change a lot! It’s personal and personality not a rule or a pill, not a law Hollywood & media can come up with!

Mental illness is illness as implied, it’s not some fashionable statement for Hollywood to use in their Instagram, Facebook and twitter! It’s a struggle that goes beyond a picture and caption!

Seriously, though. How the F else you think people want to deal with mental illness? My parents met in napa state hospital (google it) and CPS took me away at 2 years old when my crazy-ass dad was carting me around SF in the winter - naked. So we joke about it, cause it's crazy!

Yep. It's just crazy. All these disorders being normalized. So normal ppl are the problem. It needs to stop.
