Just goes to show that at the edges of the political spectrum are inhabited by the crazy and irrational. This is why fringe politics should be largely ignored. I used to own a business in SF and we just ignored the crazy wherever possible.

There is no playing nice with the mentally ill. Their way of thinking is so off the wall. In the blink of a eye mentally ill person will flip into a different being and not give you the notes to play the new game. Seriously, walk away is the best ya can do sometimes.

That dynamic is in essence a microcosm of San Francisco politics/governance over the last 50 years. No wonder it's in such dire straits. I can't think of a more miserable group of people to live or work around. Manny is either a saint or a masochist.
