Let's ban all intoxicating substances if we want to have a national health kick. Or let's roll back the nanny state a bit and see which is worse - legal weed or Uncle Bossy Pants?

The older I get and the more experiences I have with weed the more I have come to believe it isn't as safe and harmless as people pretend. Its interesting to see new statistics start coming out.

No more wrong then alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, Tylenol, Religion, working in a industrial plant, or suntanning but this argument is getting as old as reefer madness.

That's not good logic at all. I smoke marijuana and don't think there's anything wrong with it. But I'm also a believer in moderation over indulgence. Overly indulging in anything is morally wrong.

Never smoked weed in my life. Using science to justify political persecution is far worse and more dangerous than letting people face the natural consequences of their own habits.

Correct. I lived in the Netherlands for 27 years where it was legal since before I was born and for many it creates detachment issues, some become plain paranoid and others plain stupid. And as a cancer survivor I have studied it all and it is NO CURE for cancer.

Since Michigan made pot legal this year. A member of my community was ran over and killed by a person that was high on pot.

Inhaling any hot gasses causes damage to bronchioles. Burning pot, tobacco, wood or leaves causes the same type of physical damage which can lead to various other conditions.

Mike, what's your opinion on weed vs. CBD oil? None of the hallucinogenics but seems to help with inflammation?
