Always trying to be contrary, to rile up the base, so predictable! This is more alternative facts, fake news, it’s a hoax. Chopin long accepted as having a more anchored central tone and clearer emotional message.

I was sort of rolling my eyes at this YT comment and a few minutes later, WHERE DID TIME GO. This music is transformative.pic.twitter.com/jhVxxKYW2r

IKR. Now combine that with the connectivity required to perform such works in a group (orchestra) that has to express itself as one, without verbal communication. Strongly believe musical training / participation in children unlocks super powers (alt brain connections etc)

I think iv continued and enjoyed following you, not so much the political or even news worthy side of you. Which is also great. But all the extras side of you. Various books you recommend or various odd other things in life that are interesting and worth my attention. Thanks

Liszt (and Wagner) threw out traditional harmonies and establishment ideas in order to tell a story through music. Much as conservatives hated him, music never went back to the traditionalists.

Thank you for the culture breaks. I long for a time & place where architecture, music, art, & writing moved and overwhelmed people in ways that made them happy to the core of their being. Imagine waking every day to a life in the Victorian Era. But, I digress. With much drama.
