Totally personality dependent. Our oldest was super chill and the second was extremely energetic so for us it did feel like going from 1 to infinity
. We still wanted a third though and that was a blur of exhaustion. Now youngest is 16 and it’s awesome having three!!

I love the description you used for your youngest. We have a wonderful blur of exhaustion but what a ride!

When you get to five, they tend to govern themselves

The second one is easier than the first because the older child will distract and entertain the baby. Three is a bigger adjustment-you are outnumbered!

Surely these parents aren’t also “experts” that oppose the negative consequences of instituting steel tariffs

The biggest difference between having 1 child and 2, or 4 as my wife and I have. Is with just 1 child, you can choose to keep your priorities the same with minor adjustments. With multiple children, your children must become your #1 priority if you wish to raise them well.

Parenting a second child is somewhere between not giving AF and really appreciating how kid #1 has it together.

You just move from double team to man to man coverage. #3 child starts zone coverage but the older siblings eventually help out. It’s all about mindset which you know very well. We have 3, raising a family is great work & fun!

We had twins when we went for child number two, so we went from one to three overnight! They’re a handful but it’s so great when they all play together and keep each other company.pic.twitter.com/siKonea4Uf

Have 5 and it is an adventure. Literally meet new people and watch/guide their development. Up and downs of daily family life but I have never felt more whole or had more focus.

Depends on the kid and how the older kids interact
