If the Democrats try to roll AOC, with ONE TWEET, she'll have thousands of peopel packing the halls of Congress. The usual power politics games simply won't apply to her. She has the means and methods to fight back. She can "whip votes" via social media.

One of Trump's many mistakes was not using social media properly. What if, instead of crying about Alec Baldwin or Lebron James, he Tweeted, "Paul Ryan wont' fund the Wall. Will you march on Congress to BUILD THE WALL!" 2018 would have been a different year.

Trump never used his social media following in a meaningful way. He just wanted to grip about the media all day, rather than get protesters show up to apply pressure. AOC won't make that mistake. Democrats sense she is powerful, but they are too old to understand social media.

Trump knew how to drive a news cycle in 2015-2016, but he never used his following to organize pop-up rallies. He always saw his Twitter, as he said, "It's like owning the NY Times without the losses." He never understood it as a tool of activism. AOC understands that it is.
