Just noticed I hit 450,000 followers again. Had lost a bunch last 6 weeks. Lost 15,000 during first Syria bomb strike, 10,000 on the next one, and tens-of-thousands more by “alienating” my so-called “base.” I’m doing something interesting here. What that is I still don’t know.

While I strongly disagree with you on many things, since I started to follow you recently I notice that you are more intelligent than I had anticipated. That's a statement of fact and not intended to be a backhanded insult, so please don't take it that way.
I deleted most of the political people I’d followed to much hate.
Twitter also manipulates follower counts. I’ve seen a few people tweeting about unusually numbers of gains and purges in the past few weeks.
