Plenty of counties around me in upstate N.Y. vote red, if we could split from NYC I'd be so happy.

That would be good because upstate NY would go for the GOP and get to decide how they would want to be governed. And downstate except for Richmond County would go for the dems. Well could we spin 4 boroughs of NYC off?
