When the state refuses to administer justice, after a certain point, the people will take the responsibility for justice upon themselves. I grew up in the late 70's early 80's... This shit was unheard of then... Now it's ubiquitous. The media enables such groups.

I'll grant that... but the vast majority of people weren't staring at the ugly reality of sexual predators every damn day back then. Nowadays, you can't avoid it... it's in the movies, TV, awards shows, politics, newspapers. It's EVERYWHERE.

Jesus the intro paints the "victim" out to be such hero. Oh but he went to meet up with a 14 year old boy for sex? Okay we will just gloss over that. Chris Hansen gets paid to do this, are we forgetting that? This group are fucking heroes in my books.

So the penalty for being accused of talking to 31-year-olds pretending to be 15-year-olds is death without trial. Why didn’t the
#MeToo
movement think of that.... -
They didn’t kill him, he killed himself. All they did was confront him with evidence, his own words. Being confronted with HIS OWN WORDS drove him to suicide, apparently. They did not kill him.
-
Suicide as homicide volunteerism.
-
His suicide was all his decision. What “made” him do it is irrelevant, since suicide is often direct result of mental health issues. Removing personal responsibility from the equation is ridiculous. If he felt victimized, he should have contacted appropriate authorities, no?
-
Hollow victory, then?
-
I’m not advocating it as a victory, no. Ideally, someone faces the justice system for crimes committed. It’s not evident this man committed any crime related to pederasty. My point is, the man was not forced into his actions. The group embarrassed him with his words, at worst.

134 caught by popsquad an everyone was treated the same an one out of that 134 couldn't handle his fate of his actions.. I have worked with 2 if the 134 caught.. it follows them people remember the faces after popsquad catches them..https://www.popsquadhq.com/

Hmmm, better start pretending to be underage!

It's probably a little simpler than that. Volunteerism reduces the need for a larger government.
-
... never mind that volunteers serve with a much greater passion for their mission than government employees.

Ironic, considering they NBC employed Chris Hansen for doing pretty much the same thing on Dateline for years. Oddly enough, he's STILL doing that, despite his own creeper accusations that got him fired from NBC in the first place.

Never used facebook so that might be why I never knew about this. I had no idea there were groups out there busting pedo's. That's awesome.

Wasn’t it nbc who did that catch a predator thing?
-
Yep - and it resulted in a suicide -- which NBC settled out of court for. The hypocrisy is real.https://www.themarshallproject.org/2017/01/22/the-return-of-to-catch-a-predator …
