You are right on parts here and wrong on parts here. Somebody with high IQ doesn’t necessarily have to be “wise” or “nice”. But they sure will program a computer faster than somebody with a lower IQ.

It's not the IQ it's learning knowledge even bees can do that with their honey crumb

True geniuses create knowledge. See the history of paradigm shifting scientists, philosophers, and inventors. Learning something someone else created is relatively easy, though there is a wide range of ability there too.

We certainly know what it means at the lower ends, but not so much at the higher.

I never took an IQ test. I didn't want to subscribe to any newsletter after taking an online test.

People in the 99.9 of IQ were 3-5x more likely to: earn a doctorate, secure a patent, publish in an academic/scientific journal, or publish a literary work than people in the 99.1 of IQ.

It's been in use for over 100 years. Weird how the Chinese are making advancements in studying IQ but we can't even acknowledge it's real. Maybe that's because they score higher.

Many things in nature are necessary to achieve one level but are insufficient to explain further progress. IQ is like that. A crude example would be viable infancy. 30% of zygotes don’t live to 20w mainly due to chromosome abnormalities. Aft that, new diff factors become import.

I have never believed IQ is a valid thing since there’s so many different kinds of intelligence.
