Peope feel entitled and not thankful.

If you pay close enough attention, the same people whining about 2018 now will whine about 2019 a year from now. It sounds cliche but joy depends less on what happened than on the nature of the person it happened to.

2018 had a beautiful energy. I accomplished so much. I've no complaints.

Pure negative thinking and draining of energy

Just a number. Life is always now.

Finishing above ground is great but the bottom line for anyone not ready for the next $1000 emergency would probably not say they had a great year -head count not withstanding.

My dad passed away only two months ago, but every holiday this year was great, and I did thankfully get to have a short vacation shortly after with some friends.
