I'd still say it's tragic. She was obviously off her scone (drunk? drugs?) but what could police do here? They'd eventually stopped the car (after calling off an earlier chase - a chance most don't get), and then she drove car at them. That can only end one of two ways.

And I say that as someone who is wary of police aggression - I'm not a fan of authoritarianism. I think they can be too trigger happy, but sadly, I'm not sure they could have acted any other way here.
