I never wanted good press! Or any press at all. But I learned that if you want good press as a conservative, you can’t hit the left hard. You won’t get on TV. You won’t get NY Times op-Eds. That’s why the left is winning. The right plays by the left’s rules.
The media coverage of me is objectively dishonest. Have I trolled? Sure. They remind us of this. But they never mention my mindset book, which sold over 100,000 copies. That’s how The Game works. If you’re effective, they define you by a low point. Forever.

And all of the above is a reason why I moved on from Trump. He did not keep his campaign promises. I get to say this because I was - by an objective measure - instrumental in getting votes. And when MAGA people yell, I don’t care. This was a small part of my life.

I did a CNN interview the day after Elon released Hyperloop in 2013. I criticized high speed rail and big government programs and it never aired. They told me breaking news, a triple murder, was the reason why.

No, conservatives lose because the left is both a player in the game, and the referee. Conservatives need to balance that immense media power. This is far more prevalent in the Canadian media landscape
