What would be nice is if we stopped talking about the Frankfort school (a relatively puerile and superficial movement), and turned our efforts to deconstructing the Prague school and modern hermeneutics: literary devices which make it difficult to transmit meaning.
One-Dimensional Man is still one of the all time great books and people who dismiss all of the Frankfort school clearly haven’t read Marcuse.

Marcuse was a communist & part of the OSS (predecessor to the CIA). He's the "Father of the New Left". ODM is the main reason why the Left abandoned the working-class to instead focus on "outcasts" & "racial minorities" to lead "the revolution".
