Exactly. I don't have a problem with others disagreeing with me on my political or religious stances; in fact a welcome hearty but civil debate. The grievance is with the diatribe that ensues on campuses or with the stifling of our ideas in media and academia.

Yes it is a big deal. So much so that most decent comics (the non Stepford liberal kind) have given up on playing colleges and most conservatives have given up speaking on campus because of the high cost of security and the violent rioters (not peaceful protestors) that show up
