Well... maybe if Congress wasn’t in the pocket of the Corn Council, we could actually get a ban on High-Fructose Corn Syrup and strategically tackle the problem...

my Dr said I am prediabetic. I cut out pop, candy and a lot of added sugar, no change, went keto and finally came just below top of the range on glucose but skyrocketed my cholesterol and ldl so now on meds for that...
-
There’s a lot suggesting ldl is not the culprit and statins are over-prescribed, huge business. Triglycerides is the real risk factor.
-
Tris plummeted on keto, had always been over top range LDL before keto, jumped another 40 pts after, chol was in range and went over after, I was hitting coconut oil and bacon fat hard b4 1st bloodwork, mainly use avocado oil now, might cut meds 30days b4 next bloodwork to see
-
How’s HDL?
-
Always been 37-39 before and after keto

Two simple minerals are the cure: 1. Chromium 2. Vanadium
-
Are they difficult to get?
-
No. You can buy them over the counter. Most trace mineral supplements have chromium and vanadium too.

Thank you

I got juvenile Diabetes when I was 14. I am 43 now. I wasn’t overweight. I didn’t eat loads of sugar. It was an autoimmune thing. Type 2 Diabetes...that’s a different story.
-
My younger brother, which is deceased now from complications was also a juvenile diabetic. He was diagnosed at 3yo and passed at 34yo after battling a pancreas transplant gone bad.
