“basically Gio has molested an eight-year-old boy," he continued. "Now, mind you, this is extreme comedy...” Oh. Yeah. That’s. Hilarious.

He solicited paedophilia prostitution as a joke, for entertainment purposes. That's just sick by itself. The he claims to be a hero by turning over the footage. Sorry, you already lost me.

There are two incredible things about this narrative: (1) the FBI chose not to pursue a credible lead and (2) how's in f*ck's name does SBC manage to connect this experience to the election of President Trump at the end of the article?

I’m still trying to comprehend the part that says, “In the end, said Baron Cohen, "the FBI decided not to pursue it." ???

good for him. but why did the
@FBI decide not to follow up on this? -
Pretty sure it has to do with this: “And this concierge had said that he’d worked for politicians and various billionaires."
-
Suspect it might just as well be that the concierge either recognized him or figured out what was going on and was intentionally stringing him on. At this point we have only SBC’s take on it and he’s less than reliable or disinterested.
-
wouldnt there have been some follow up for that to be found out? if he contacted someone himself to clear it up, wouldnt the FBI have said there was nothing there instead of deciding not to pursue? seems like a poor choice of words at the very least considering the alleged crime
-
Again, that’s assuming the guy who built his career on making people believe outrageous things is playing it accurate and straight here and not embellishing to help generate buzz for his show. I don’t know the truth, I’m just not predisposed to take only his word as truth.
-
if he was trying to build buzz for his show, he would have done it before it aired. not saying it means the concierge is guilty cause of this interaction but still. cant say im happy with the response
