Yes.
But does that mean every other creator who stays with the platform out of necessity is compromising their principles?
No, I don’t think so.
I’m not saying @not_sargon ever implied this -
He didn’t. And money is money. I know a lot of rich people. 99% wouldn’t lose a dollar on principle as they have none.
Harris should be applauded, of course, but the reality is he’s not going to be evicted because he shut down his account. That is literally the position that other people are in though, and that’s a huge part of this conversation that’s missing: how small creators are affected.
Mike-the 2 richest people I know would absolutely lose money over principal. One is a billionaire. You may be right about Sam. Maybe my friends are the 1% you speak of
