Sullivan is helping drain the swamp. To publicly state that anyone not registering as a foreign agent, when they are acting as one (and, in this case, advising the US president) could be considered a traitor, is a message to all - "This could happen to you". Change starts here.

You can be both a war hero and then be other, less selfless things later in life. People change, that is really the only constant. Flynns cooperation now is honourable, imo (many disagree) and I personally find his protection of his son to be positive.
