Home schooling is a noble goal for anyone who has children. Given the resources and time, I think most would come to that logical conclusion.

Shit, considering that one of the most useful books I've ever read was, "How to Win Friends and Influence People," and none of my teachers or professors ever told me about it, then I'd say home schooling is definitely worthy of consideration.

Response: What’s a job? Oh yeah those things that used to be the most stable way to make money when companies had loyalty to their workers.

We found the opposite. Our adult children are employed in high-demand professions. Things looking good for the last minor daughter as well. Great success to your daughters!

As far as I can tell homeschooled kids are far more knowledgeable and prepared for adulthood than kids who go to public schools.
-
Agreed. The people I knew who were homeschooled were very socially adept people. Could befriend almost anyone. Probably has to do with the lack of toxic socialization that goes on in awful public schools.
-
No doubt. I believe it is that toxic atmosphere at school that is the driving force behind increase in violence. There’s a reason at-risk kids attack the school, and not their home.

I can say from first-hand experience at a small DII regional university that home-school students tend to have higher/better graduation rates than their traditional H.S. grad peers. Our admissions staff loves home-schooled students.

I wish this guy could meet my homeschooled son. In spite of having a physical disability, he has soared. It’s a tailor made education. I look around at his public school friends and see many of them struggling. I wish they had the opportunity to be homeschooled.

... So you think our current education system does a better job at teaching our youth than an informed and well researched parent?
