The results of this survey surprised me (only 1-in-3 of Cernovich read Bible) because 80% of you oppose abortion unless in emergency cases. Is there a secular case against abortion, and if so, what is it?https://twitter.com/Cernovich/status/1074514714913165312 …

Secular but generally opposed to abortion because people are ending the life of a complex genetic descendant. They're making the assumption, sometimes rightly, that they cannot care for the child. It may not always be treated that way, but that's an incredibly hard decision.

Non believer. I don’t agree with pro choice unless for Emergancy. You have made plenty of choices before getting pregnant 99% of the time. Stop making bad choices and then you don’t need to kill babies.

The term limit is far too long, they should not be allowed beyond 12 weeks, that is the point they start becoming more human, 12 weeks is enough time to make that decision.

I was always pro-choice. I suppose I still am for other ppl: who am I to make rules? But life does begin at conception. My toddler daughter was already there at the very start. To deny this is futile.

Im an atheist. I think there are extreme circumstances where killing someone is the least worst option. But it shouldn’t be a personal right under the rubric of privacy (as per Roe). A life that has begun has a right to continue, and not be ended merely by someone else’s wants.

Personally opposed. But ok with government giving liberals choice to take out their own offspring and not contribute to our gene pool
But government shouldn’t be paying for their “mistakes” either. Not very Christian, I know.

Twin pillars of feminism and destruction of the family- welfare and birth control (abortion is a form of birth control). Imagine if none of the various forms of female welfare existed, and no birth control. How would women and offspring survive? Marriage.

I'm not overly religious but think it's essential as a moral compass in a free society.
