Want to see Twitter's manipulation in action? Just go to their search page, and type in "donald trump." See what comes up. See how their "top" results show low-level accounts with little engagement somehow showing up in the top 10 & top 20 tweets. Notice what they have in common.

Confirmation bias is huge in analysing what Bug Tech are doing to us. That and a lack of knowledge *how* they do it. This is one obvious example. Is it high tech - based on all your interactions or low tech - same boring text match for everyone who uses search function.

Dat screen cap game tho! Dude! Yeah, mine are different. I get Pew Research at number one (which I use a lot) and Junior as suggestion (as I don’t folllow any trump) and so on.

I do get slate and mother jones as you do. (Very rarely been there in twitter and don’t follow them)
