There are increasing numbers of people in the modern West who believe that marriage is outdated, men are bad, women are bad, morality is entirely subjective and procreation is unethical... So you might be right. Unless the ship turns around in a big way.

Feel like Cernovich is just feeling defeated by the ineffective conservative-libertarian strategy & the effectiveness of the leftist deconstructionism of the west & is kind of throwing in the towel. I'm pessimistic too, but not pessimistic enough to be long on China & Islam lol
-
And when I say "throwing in the towel" I mean it in the pragmatic sense, not the philosophical sense. Still the same guy, just at a loss as to how we win.
-
I think Cernovich is a good guy at heart, but a pragmatist first and foremost.
-
Which is why he causes such outrage among the ideologues on both sides.

It's an honest assessment. The Western world is quite rapidly losing its moral foundations, strengths and cohesion. Mostly dude to self-harm imo. Without those things, empires can get overtaken by those which maintain them better. Aging populations, negative birthrates...
-
These are legit problems. Countries need (new) people and families first and foremost. Median age in Germany is 47. In UK 40. In Nigeria 18. Thats major.

One thing to watch is Chinas economy. Its not as tough as it appears to be. The tarrifs did indeed slow down their growth. Itll be interesting to see if they can keep it up as the middle class in their country rises.

If China keeps putting large numbers of Muslims into concentration camps it's only a matter of time until an Islamic group declares Jihad. This could have large repercussions concerning China's East African ambitions, but I don't see China taking a gentler approach.

Is Pakistan really an ally to anyone lol? I get your point, though. And I don't think Jihad will be declared by a Muslim state, per se. It could be an a group like al-quaeda or something similar. The West has made themselves an easy first target, but China is still on the list

The Chinese Belt-Road-Initiative (BRI) is beyond fascinating and indicates they're in it for the VERY LONG haul https://twitter.com/STUinSD/status/1023660353975025664 …

If you're thinking long ling term no one does it better than China.

Unless of course their population has some sort of massive uprising a la the Arab Spring. If their economy tanks due to any a combination of any number of reasons, they are just as vulnerable to revolution as any totalitarian state. Can't count out the human spirit.
