It's a fair point that without Donald Trump, had Hillary Clinton beat someone like Jeb Bush, neither Cernovich or any other alt-media would be on Twitter right now, might be at Guantanamo. The alt-media needed someone within the establishment to stand up and counter the globalist

The push back against the alt-media happened anyway and many conservatives have been deplatformed. But maybe it would have been a lot worse under Clinton.
