This has really fucked up the heads of a lot of people in the MMA world. There is a lot of social justice believers in the MMA fan base and journalism spheres, Kidd being at the forefront of that group, that seem as upset about how he was exposed as they are with his crimes.
-
I’ve seen established writers at Bloody Elbow admonishing other MMA journalists for thanking the person who brought attention to this because that person is considered “toxic” in their eyes.

Well then he is a fuckwit that deserves a lot of thanks in this situation. Bloody Elbow’s writers should be thanking him in this instance, despite their disdain for him. They shouldn’t be angry that he was the one that really shined a light on the issue.

Obviously he is a dangerous person. Should’ve been locked up. In Europe they don’t lock people up for stuff like this, I am from Norway and their sentencings are insulting to victims. Sad guy

I am from the UK and agree totally with you. Did you know that one of the two men convicted with Kidd, and who “appeared in the dock alongside him” was “originally from Norway”:https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/16858931.amp/ …
