That's not the way it works though. Cliches are static by definition. The best ones are a little bizarre and dated anyway. Cars replaced horses, but people continued saying "hold your horses!". When muskets were phased out, people still kept saying "it was a flash in the pan!"

No problem there, I’m a carnivore. Had two eggs, three pieces of bacon and a low carb English muffin for breakfast. That’s what I used to eat before eggs were supposed to be bad for you. Cereal will kill you; too many carbs and a ton of sugar. Stevia for me.
