Had a friend rejected from Harvard Med., a couple others & University of IA with little research. 4.0 with close to max stats.
He researched for a year before John Hopkins. Overqualified & still rejected by others. #whiteprivilege fail.
Be patient!

Asian men are above white men on the privilege scale. They’re typically raised to work hard so they usually do very well for themselves, and that makes them “privileged” even though they worked for everything they achieved, which is the exact opposite of privilege.

I bet Michael Wang isn't so stupid that he capitalizes every word in a sentence though.
-
It’s a title. You capitalize words in titles to indicate that it’s... ya know.. a title.

With the Chinese Exclusion Act, I thought they should have been the oppressed class.

That’s good Mr Wang, he’s reduced his chances in possible communistic brainwashing prevalent in the Ivy League.

The problem with Asians is that many of them only care about the supposed prestige that comes from getting into Harvard or Yale. This turns schools into echo chambers where everyone is the same. That's not what you want.
-
How is that different from any other race?
-
You might find that non Asians tend to want to go to a place that makes them happy. Not the preported "top". Not everyone wants to goto Harvard.
-
That's different than what you're saying. Your first statement was about going to Harvard for prestige. I think you'll find that other races go there for the primarily the same reason. /1
-
Your second statement is going to a place that makes them happy. If you actually talk to Asians, you might find that that also applies to them at large.
-
That's funny. All my students (who are Asian) say they want to goto; Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, etc because "my parents want me to" or "its famous". I actually tell them to look for places where they think they'll fit in the best and not only at the ranking.
-
Perhaps you’re exclusively dealing with economically well off Asians.
-
If you read the linked article. They are part of the problem.
