Thankfully, due to social media everyone knows. Just like, even though NBC wouldn't air the Ye segment, everybody knows. Cue Leonard Cohen...

What's the deal with negro, in Brazil that's how we call black people respectfully
-
Haha. In 50 years you'll call them "black", then in another 50, "African Brazillians" or else you'll be considered racist.

I thought he was a Negro. I don't find that word prejudicial, just a bit old-fashioned. He certainly not an African-American: you can be African, or you can be American, but you can't be both.

After all they (cnn) ARE the water carriers for the modern democratic plantation masters are they not?
-
I've been looking at what Democrats do, they still do what Democrats did back in the day. They attack anyone who doesn't agree with them, if you don't go along with them and your a POC they throw slurs at you, they expect them to still be dependent on them and so on.

You should be honest in your reporting that Bakari Sellers, an African American politician, is the one who made the comment, not a
@CNN anchor. -
And they laughed! And the woman used exactly the same term just after the politician. Don't try to tone down something that would have cost anybody else his/her career in a couple of hours or even quicker. I don't think Roseanne Barr said worse than this.
-
I’m giving you the facts, ma’am.
-
No you don't. You forgot to say that the woman, who often appears on CNN, also lashed out on West with the same racist word. And you forgot to say they laughed, and endorsed everything that was said. You not stating fact, you're just trying to minimize blatant racism.
-
I don’t approve of using that word, or the reaction to it. But it wasn’t a
@CNN anchor as@Cernovich lead on in his initial post. -
Fine. I'm no familiar with the term. But I suppose the work of the "anchor" should have been to tell the other two guests that what they were saying was absolutely unacceptable, and basically stop the interview. But he let that go and laughed which, to me, means he agrees.
-
Even though it’s not in my personal vocabulary... Just asking the question: is that word actually considered racist, or are you trying to play “gotcha” with the left? Case in point.http://www.uncf.org
-
In France the word is definitely considered racist. And anyone uttering it on a national channel in the news would definitely be brought to court. I was really amazed to hear it on CNN. I'm not playing "gotcha" because I don't have any "stakes" in US election.
