It’s time. Starting today, homes across the USA will start getting invitations for the #2020Census -- a once in a decade chance to help build your community, just by making sure you’re included in the official count of people living in America.pic.twitter.com/y2I7deDj6F

Your invitation for the #2020Census will include a unique Census ID There's 1 ID per household & you should submit responses for everyone living with you -- not just yourself or your family You CAN still respond to the census without an ID but we recommend using it if you canpic.twitter.com/e4jCdP7RCz

Don't forget the phone is an option for the #2020Census! The Census Bureau can help through TTY & in English, Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin + Cantonese), Vietnamese, Korean, Russian, Arabic, Tagalog, Polish, French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, & Japanese http://bit.ly/callthecensus pic.twitter.com/QCJ1SzjEFI

If you get an invite to complete the #2020Census online or by phone but you want a paper form instead, just hold tight. One will be coming in the mail. It's your choice! Starting in May, if you haven't responded, the Census Bureau will send a census taker to help you out.pic.twitter.com/hcX7dolMfR

It’s the #2020Census’ job to count EVERYONE living in the United States and it’s YOUR job to count EVERYONE living in your household: all ages and all people (even if they're not family) All types of living situations count and should be COUNTED!pic.twitter.com/qPp2UNwBIs

I do not want a Census person at my house. I have explicit instructions on my door NOT TO KNOCK. If I’m not home, and someone knocks it sends my rescue dogs into a frenzy that they can’t break out of without intervention. How can I opt in to a phone or mail count?

No need to opt-in! When you get your invitation in the mail in the coming week, just go online (http://my2020census.gov ) with your unique Census ID or call the listed phone number. If you want a paper form, one will be delivered to you by mid-April.
