I applaud my fellow Central Texans for their enthusiasm, but as a state and country we should be outraged there are long lines to vote anywhere. This is voter suppression. Not everyone can afford to wait. Some who see these lines will decide it is too difficult and not vote.

Lines before doors open, and persisting afterwards on day one aren’t indicative of suppression. If they’re constant across the entire 17 day time window, then that argument can be made. This is day one enthusiasm.
