Agree. @CityofEncinitas has a big heart, and we’re lucky to have @LeichtagFdn as a neighbor that’s willing to host community members who are struggling. I urge my fellow Encinitans to let the City, Leichtag, and Jewish Family Service launch the program.
Fitting that after the MLK weekend @CityofEncinitas will vote on a 25-spot Safe Parking lot for those who have lost their homes but still have a car to sleep safely at night. This is the right side of history. Every city needs to be finding solutions as homelessness grows.
