Brains seem to require less training data than neural nets.
Brains also have evolution to guide their behavior. Interactive environment. Much context. Other brains to lead by example/language.

Image recognition might be easier with video than with still photos. If you see something confusing, you can move to change perspective.

I suspect many things are much more tractable with 2way connection to the world (interactive, not just readonly data feed).
