We seen how this went in NYC. They defunded the police and redistributed the budget via the school funding to keep police in schools when the community doesn’t want police in schools scaring kids. So, being specific is incredibly important.

imagine seeing nationwide police riots against unarmed civilians and not calling that out as one of the single greatest threats to freedom in America for hundreds of millions of people, especially POC. Big oof, but wish it was more surprising.
