So why is planning no additional crosswalks and barely legal, far too narrow 4-foot sidewalks & bike lanes in their #Fix65th street upgrade?

This is nuts. Kids walk in groups too large to pass each other and will end up walking in the street.

Exactly. Simplest solution is to combine walk/bike into extra-wide multi-use plaza near Roosevelt light rail / high school + engineer road use to safe < 20 MPH.

Because most of has an ingrained attitude that people in cars are the only ones that count. , please make clear that that attitude won’t be tolerated anymore.
