Latest on #PopeFrancis: He is on a liquid diet, vital signs are stable. For Solemnity of Corpus Christi, he received the Eucharist. He received a poster from family of Miguel Angel, whom he baptized last March. The pope personally thanked the mother with a brief phone call.

Right after his general audience in St. Peter's Square, Pope Francis heads to Gemelli hospital for at least the next two days for a 'small operation,' according to ANSA. He had a brief visit there y'day for tests.

Pope Francis: One doesn't become a Christian because they're forced to, but b/c they've been touched by love. The church needs hearts like St. Therese’s, hearts that draw people to love & bring people closer to God. Let us pray for the passion that Jesus be known & loved.
